Hopefully the permanent signing is De Guzman.

Personally, I don't have a problem with loan signings, as long as an option to buy clause is inserted in the contract i.e. like Isla. Gives players coming to the PL from abroad the chance to knuckle down and prove their worth, and us the option to sever all ties at the end of the season if it doesn't work out or first refusal if they have a stormer.

Either De Guzman or Sigthorsson you would imagine.

I would say Sigthorsson on a perm, and maybe De Guzman on loan to perm.

Interest from Napoli in De Guzman tho so it may not happen.

Listening to talk sport a while ago I think there is something in the Townsend thing not saying it will happen , if it did I'd take it on the right terms , after all Remy doesn't want to be here Townsend would be happy to with us

Wouldn't swap Remy for anyone to be honest.. His goals could keep us up

Yep his goals COULD keep us up but he's got to here and happy and settled to score them , if he is going to go I would see it as plus if he went to Spurs rather than the sw6 mob

Tony's said this morning on talksport that he is very optimistic of Remy staying for the whole season. Tony and Remy get on very well remember so at the moment I have no reason not to believe he isn't happy to stay with us

I think he is happy to be in London full stop , TF being optimistic wont stop him going if a big London club calls ,sorry for the gloom it's the way I see it

Cant see any club in london wanting him. He isnt good enough for chelsea and tottenham could and would of got him by now if they wanted him i reckon, and arsenal deffo dont want him.

he said that having several coaches means they could do more 1 on 1 coaching and also 1 coach could work with the defence, 1 could work with the midfield, etc, etc

all sounded positive and constructive IMO

                          From Harry's 666Bet blog:

“We’re still short, certainly need another three or four players. The chairman is working hard at getting the right players in, but these things take time. We can only spend what we can spend, so it’s certainly not easy.”

Redknapp confirmed Adel Taarabt is likely to depart in the coming weeks, with Holland international midfied duo Leroy Fer and Jonathan De Guzman linked with moves to the west London club.

“If we can stay-up I’d be delighted. If you offered me fourth from bottom now, I’d bite your hand off. I could talk cobblers and say we want to finish in the top half.

But just to stay in the Premier League would be great for us - consolidate and keep building. We have been a yo-yo club for too long, we just need to become an established Premier League club.”

That was one great interview. Harry sounds buoyed & has a spring in his step. Although in top 4 all last season Harry sounded doom & gloom.

Things shaping up nicely. To those doubting Hoddle please wake up.

Interesting to hear him say he loved working with Wally Downes and he seemed to suggest that Wally didn't come back rather than we got rid of him.
