    great battling performance by the lads , everything to be proud of . Chelsea needed to bring on the big boys to ensure it . now we need to take this into the league and get some wins. proud so proud. albeit very dissapointed.

                    Its been the same for all 3 of our "big" cup games recently (1 v Man Utd, 2 v Chelsea), although on balance last night's performance was probably the best of the 3.

                    Vine looked good until he ran out of steam, and Simpson did well although isolated a lot of the time. Thought Legs had a pretty good game, but Faurlin and Buzz should have shone last night with all that space/time and neither did.

                    We still need a left back and striker. Still.
