Some of our fans live in a fantasy world thats the problem... Not many teams go to Chelsea and have 49% of the possession so although we were never really going to win the game we must have been doing something right...its something to build on at least!

Not in the Premier League against their first team, no.

But let's not forget that Burnley won there last year at this stage, Leicester knocked in 3 goals the year before and the year before that Charlton won there.

Wouldn't have been too much to ask to show a little bit of ambition in the last 15 minutes

This was a much better effort than the FA Cup, how anyone can be disappointed with the way we performed is beyond me.

We didn't get the goal, but it was not for the lack of trying.

Just to add some perspective on our performance. The Chelsea starting line up, although obviously not their strongest 11, cost them over £90 million and that included 2 players who came through their youth set up.

They also brought on 3 of the best current England Internationals.

              yes

yes agree if we had had blackstock we would have scored, we need hooper in january,in fact if we hadnt loaned out helgerson he may well have scored
another magilton mistake to play vine who hasnt scored at all this season
where as helgerson and blackstock both scored three goals

Disappointed with the last 15 minutes. I honestly thought they were there for the taking yet we didn't seem to have the balls to take the risks.

give the lads a break. they played their hearts out for us - and we more than matched them.

what more could we have asked for?

I do not subscribe to the "losing but playing well" approach.
When you play well, you achieve a result, a win or at least a draw.
rubbish statement....blackpool played very well against stoke and lost 4-3......bet the fans were proud....you don't always get a result when you play well......what about the times you win when playing bad.....can you still say we played well because we got a result.....don't be daft.

I was impressed with the performance and never would have thought that many of the players I was not too happy with a few weeks ago. Chelsea are (as much as I don't like to say it) a great side and we actually took a game to them.

I'm very disappointed in the way we allowed chelsea to play without pressure especially in the 2nd half, and so were many around me last night. As been mentioned before teams have been to stamford bridge and won, so why couldn't we?? We sat back to our penalty area which invited them on, they duely scored, and we still sat back FFS. In the 2nd half at no stage did I feel we would score, and if we did, chelsea would of moved up a gear.

Obviously from reading this thread many on here never expected us to score let alone win so I dont really understand why they went. After watching QPR for 26 years I am the same as the 1st game I watched, desperate for them to win. I would just love to know what exactly was our game plan to beat chelsea last night, as sitting back and giving world class players all the time they want on the ball was never going to work.

If we had ago last night and lost 4-0 trying to win i would be proud, but settling for 1-0 and watching both your central midfielders sitting back in the centre circle with 10 mins to go protecting our 1-0 loss, is very disappointing.

So for the second time at chelsea we have gone there and shown them all our chat means #### all, and then had to listen to them p!ssing themselves about us on the way home. The qpr fans listening to this didn't seem too proud last night.

we didnt sit back for the whole game. at times you have to when under pressure.

but for alot of the time we were pressurising them!

im sorry but to say we sat back for the whole game isnt giving the players credit for the job they all did.

i would much rather loose 1-0 than 4-0 anytime. they all did a excellent job to a man. and i am proud. loosing 4-0 isnt something to be proud of.

we lost 1-0 which was a close game where we tried out hardest to get a goal.
