  • whats the greatest ever qpr memory

ive always said clive allens goal at highbury

but finally that has been surpassed by the greatest ever qpr day of my life in 56 seasons since 1958
the greatest ever moments of my life have got to be the championship final v derby
there was just a magic about it even the governors of all the bars ghave said they have never known supporters l;ike qpr
non stop drinking all day long and in total ecstacy, but the reason why i loved it so much was because i drove very early up to loftus road
and very realised that all the main guys were not at loftus road they were at shepards bush green on the drink getting blown out of there minds
so my brain tells me now i can have some real fun
SHOUTING AT THE TOP OF MY VOICE I SAY TO ABOUT 80 GEEZERS IM LEADING THIS MARCH TO WEMBLEY
they replied we have been told to wait untill 10 -30 am before we start to move
I SHOUT BACK IM THE FAMOUS QPRTED AND IM LEADING THIS MARCH AND WE ARE LEAVING AT TEN O CLOCK
from that moment on i had created chaos everybody was now hopelessly running behind schedule
but it was so funny to watch
but of course i haed brought my vehicle so i w3asnt going to march all that way so i now drove up to the torch
parked my car around one of the back streets,
AND NOW I REALLY ENJOYED THE DAY EVENTUALLY THE MARCH TURNED UP AT THE TORCH EVERYONE LOOKED EXHAUSTED VICTOR SAID SOME ***X HAS RUINED THE WHOLE MARCH BY STARTING HALF AN OUR TOO EARLY BUT MY DAY WAS BLOSSOMING INTO SO MUCH FUN
ALL THOSE LOVELY FLAGS INSIDE THE GROUND
so how about you guys did anyone else think this was the greatest ever qpr day in there history

I've always been proud of our FA Cup displays against Spurs in 1982, particularly the replay, still can't believe we lost!!!
But, the 24th May 2014 is by far and away, the best day Queen's Park Rangers have ever given me since my first match in 1972/73.

Got to say the win at Sheff Wednesday to get promotion to the Championship, Rangers nearly always **** up these must win games and if we had not won that game I think we could still be in Div 1 or worse.

For pure joy and mass celebrations May 24 was some day.

I enjoyed Sheffield but made the error of staying the night in Sheffield. What a miserable city. Should have headed back to The Bush at the final whistle.

May 24th was probably my most perfect footballing day ever.

May 24 is my sister's birthday but she has zero interest in football. What a waste

Ted, I hope you did the responsible thing and didnt drive home that day!

Have had some great memory's Anfield 2nd leg Milk Cup, Old Trafford 1-4, Sheff Weds promotion, Watford promotion, Scum 0-1 and many more but 24th May 2014 was the highlight that will be hard to beat and although we are almost starting a new season any clip that comes up of BZ goal I still can't help but watch and it still brings a tear to my eye, what a day

What about the thrashing against the eagles to stay up? That was amazing

High - April 1975 v Leeds at HQ. on the pitch at the end and Dave Sexton and the team came out onto SA Road Stand. At 15 I mistakenly believed it would always be this way following QPR.
Fun - April 1982, WBA at Highbury. Spent pre and post match drinking with Baggies fans in Pinner. Good lads, great banter.
Low - May 2003, Cardiff playoff Final with my son. Worst train ride home ever.
High - May 2004, Sheffield Wed away promotion. Best train ride home ever, stoned on passive dope smoking in carriage!
Best - May 2014 Wembley - with my son, daughter and mates. Best day EVER. Still buzzing.

I don't think you can top what we did a few months ago.....

But Beating Liverpool 3-2 in the late 80's - when it seemed that everyone at school was a Liverpool fan really sticks out in my memory. It just seemed to mean a lot at the time.

                        QPR 2 Leeds 0 - CHAMPIONS!
Well, for ten days or whatever it was anyway.
What a GREAT afternoon at LR!

Play Off final is second for me, followed by our 3-0 win at the scum back in the early '70s.
