  • Will anyone miss the Championship?

Well I certainly will as I have never embraced the Premiership as much as perhaps I should and for me I have always felt there is so much more passion in the lower leagues despite the far lower crowds with real stadiums and mainly 3pm kick offs

Some of the best days supporting QPR for me was travelling around the Country when we were in the old 2nd and 3rd divisions with the same faces week in week out and although I have continued to renew my season ticket every year since you never know who will be sitting next to you from one year to the next in the Premier

Of course its great to see some of the best players in the world at Loftus Rd but 99% of the time they play for the opposition and of course we rarely win but then when we do it makes for a special day and of course I dont want us to get relegated but would not be too heart broken if it was to happen as long as there was still a QPR to watch

Only will miss more wins than defeats, more games and more regular kick-off times. Apart from that roll on Saturday, hope the Dull fans behave themselves and not chant about terrorists again. I actually know a few lads from up there ususally with the Driffield Tigers banner.
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

The premiership, with its half and half scarfs and its serf like bowing to its master that is sky tv ain't my cup of tea.
"The kids missed everything from Queens Park Rangers to Conkers".

London Pride has been handed down to us.

I know some good lads from Hull from England games and am looking forward to having a pint with them on Saturday and they were really embarresed by thos bomber chants a few years ago by some spotty kids

Was at that game and cannot believe how some of our fans over reacted afterwards

Will miss winning , normal KO times , an open league , having a season ticket at a respectable price, having supporters without delusions of grandeur or supporters who get excited by the opposition players

The only thing I will really miss are the derbies and local games other then that the Championship to me is boring dire league

Those chants were vile. And no doubt adults were involved as well as the 'spotty kids'.

Agree on your sky point, got far too much of a grip on football in this country.

They were vile I am not disputing that but QPR fans are hardly angels when it comes to terrace chants either

I am guessing the teams that got relegated will.

I won't, think this year will be really hard to get out. Glad we did it when we did

Slightly off topic but Are you sure?? I too was at that game, nice sunny day, good atmosphere (crap football) after that chant the whole atmosphere changed.im originally from west London and it made me feel extremely angry. How could those ****s sing that? It was an attack on our country where ever they were from. Wernt most of the bombers from outside of London anyway?

It still makes my hair stand up on neck when thinking about it & I can't see there being an over reaction what so ever, it could have turned out very bad

Queue the 'feelings hurt & don't be a wimp replies' if so up yours to those !!

Ps- will miss it for a year or so

Yes ...... But have a bad feeling, at the moment, that we will soon be back. I hope I'm wrong.
