  • Bad pre-season?

Harry Redknapp says he has been disappointed with QPR's pre-season as they prepare for the start of the Premier League campaign.

Why they arrange games like these,if they are not good for our pre-season? Who arrange these games? If it board, then why can't Harry say "i wan't better games than that"

It's not untrue though is it. Not only are we short maybe 6 players, and unable to field a full squad that will compete in the prem,

the level of opposition apart from PAOK has been naff.

Excuses - I agree with that - I'm sure a lot of managers would be happy to 'work' with the squad we've got. Add Remy, Adel, who are under contract so it's not a case of "well I think he wants to play somewhere else".

            + Isla

+ Yun or Traore LWB and not effing SWP.

Ok needs adding to/backup sure but he's got a starting 11 that should've looked half decent.

I am not sure what is written in the report is what Harry said. Having said so, they are still better than the **** camp in Malaysia 2 years ago.

I've always fort Redknapps corner on here but I've got to be honest I sort of disagree with him. I think we'll add a couple of players this week and if that happens I actually think we'll have more than a decent squad....We're not looking to finish top half or get into Europe. This is our first season in the premiership, we should be looking to survive, realistically somewhere around 14th/15th. And with a couple of additions this week I think as a squad we're more than capable of achieving that. Also not forgetting the January window to add more if needed.

Not sure how far in advance these games are usually arrangement. Remember we did not know until the end of May which division we were going to play in, so nothing could be arranged until then. Also with the world cup, you have players returning to training at different times.

Fairly pointless interview. Pre-season is about getting match fitness and sharpness. We don't need to be playing Champions League teams. We know we could do with a couple of players to improve the squad. We also know that car window will be rolling down on deadline day and 'Arry will bring a few in.

Must be terrible to work with HR
                        Bad facilities
                        Bad opponents
                        Bad countries
                        Bad pitches

How about getting your players to play up to their standards wherever and against whom they are playing - that is your job

We have some real budding politicians that translate the written press and are able to subtly put words/connotations into what is printed to make it a whole different article
