Is all that 2 of the top tems with the highest gates could muster at Wembley on Sunday. Whereas little old QPR and Derby got 85,000 between them.

Which is the bigger trophy, play off trophy or Community Shield? I'd say about the same.

And still people bang on about us not filling a 35k-40k stadium in the prem.

The reason we don't sell out is because 90% of the tix are sold quick, but the ones left, apart from the away allocation, are poor seats with restricted view, bad leg room or being stuffed in the corner of this tired old rusty shed of a ground we use. We've all been there, and it's poor vfm so won't do it too often.

New stadium can't come quick enough IMO. Current one with an 18.5k capacity is unsustainable for a club in the top div, well always be a yo yo club unless we grow. and it's bordering on embarrassing.

Play-off trophy on the same level as the Community Shield??? You're having a laugh there mate....

To be fair, that's not bad for a meaningless friendly just before the season starts....

            OP is way off.

How many do you think we'd sell if that was our 50968740958th trip to Wembley in the past decade? If it was for a glorified pre-season friendly? If we had glamorous European awaydays to drain our cash.

I'm sure we all know people who made ridiculous efforts to get to the Derby game, people who flew in, skipped weddings etc. Do you really think people did the same for yesterday's match?

You really think the Championship playoff final is on a par with the Community Shield? wow!
Play off final the richest single one off game in world sport reportedly, compared with a nothing game to kick the season off!

Play off final the same as community shield?!? Well..maybe for the massive clubs supporters who don't really give a t0ss about either!

So, assuming we win the FA Cup (I realise winning the prem is being a tad optimistic) how many would we take to the Community Shield in 2015?

I think we would sell out again but if it keeps happening every year we get to Wembley then the crowds would become less each time

I think we'd be hard pushed to sell 40k - unless ticket pricing was reasonable.

                          Wow, how deluded are you?

A Championship Play Off Final and Community Shield game on the same level? One is the richest game in the world, the other is a friendly!

Keep kidding yourself that we can fill 35-40k stadium week in week out just because we took 40k to Wembley. Do you think everyone at Wembley was a Rangers fan? Do you think people who flew in from all over the world would do it every home game?

As a stable PL club, we'd average 25k max, unless we're going down the route of giving away tickets and becoming a tourist club, something I'd detest! We're a small club, people need to get used to it, no shame whatsoever! I'd rather have 20,000 proper fans than 40,000 plastic!

If we were to go back to Wembley anytime soon, I think we would struggle to fill it the same as before

I'd certainly agree that our cramped stadium does put fans off, but like the majority of fellow r's, 40,000 is way too optimistic
