Zamora could surprise a few. Wasn't right most of last season, was injured and still played when we had no other options. If he is now fit, and it seems he is judged on pre-season games, then his experience will be needed.

As a hold up front man he brings the midfield in to play well when he's fit, or as the lone striker role he is a better option IMO than both Charlie (who hasn't played at this level yet), and also Remy (who tends to drift out to the wings and who I'm not convinced will be staying anyway), and both of these strikers need to play as a pair or the game passes them by with only a few chances created due to poor service. With a good playmaker behind him in the no10 role, a fit Zamora could get 15 goals.

I'd like to see Michael Petrasso get a run!
"Imagine a relationship that went wrong but you held on in there for years: that's what it is like supporting a football team. Your loyalty to a team can never die. Ties are stronger than they could ever be with a woman. If she goes and sleeps with your best mate, it's over. If the Rs' boss, Ian Holloway, slept with my best mate, QPR would still be my team. Even if many of the things that you loved about going to matches have gone - terraces, team shirts without sponsors and being able to smoke at grounds - you still stick with your team." - Peter Doherty.

I know he is not everyones cup of tea and he has flattered to deceive but pre season, too me at least ,he has looked like the run of games have done him the world of good and he will get more game time and have a bigger impact then he has too date for us

After him I think it will be Faurlin
If those 2 especially SWP start every week we have no chance of staying up, SWP could not go round a dustbin lid and cannot shot or cross to save his life, he would not get in my 25 let alone play every week.

Faulin... It amazes me how popular he is on this board, average championship player at best, and I do not think he will ever regain the form he had before his 2 tragic injuries.

Faurlin. Hoping he will prove his fitness and with it show what a good player he can be.

Hmm I think that he's way past his best personally and is a complete waste of a squad place but I'll let Harry et al be the judge at that.... I also fear that the Premmo might be a step too far for Charlie too but very much hope I'm wrong.... the team doesn't look full of goals either which is a worry.... At this stage of the proceedings I'd willingly accept 17th place but with the caveat that its not a last day nerve shredder....

Hoilett...still hasn't shown what he's really capable of in the hoops.

Faulin is a known quantity and has already proved himself in the hoops, so don't see him as a surprise.

How about a pole of the players mentioned mostly so far (Hoilett, SWP, Faurlin, Matty Philips)?

Sadly I reckon Charlie will show his limitations in the Premiership. Same with our CBs & probably Barton….

Of course if Taarabt gets a chance he will show what he's about, and I really hope Faurlin stays injury free - he's the only CM we've got who I can see dictating games, did great last time before a very unlucky injury.
