Every player in the premier league is an athlete, quick and strong. Our centre mid doesn't have any. Faurlin and Barton would get overrun IMO. Need to play one with a Diarra/Diame/Fer/De Guzman type. Good that HR recognises that

Questions about Barton at this level (he was absolute pants when he last played for us in PL, and that was three seasons ago now) and over whether Faurlin can stay injury-free. Henry and Jenas should really be squad players at best. So that leaves Mutch - seeing as Harry's planning on a five-man midfield that does leave us a little short, depending on how you see Phillips and Hoilett fitting in. I'd be very surprised if Taarabt is part of Harry's plans.

We almost definitely need another striker - we got stuffed last time we named a PL squad with only three, and left wing back is potentially problematic, with Traore made of glass and Suk-Young being untested at this level (wouldn't be surprised if Harry wants rid anyway).

Is this theory that HR wants rid of Yun based on the fact he's barely been involved pre-season?
Man City have not included any of their World Cup players in pre-season - wonder how many of their fans deduce from that that the manager wants shot of them

Could be because Redknapp dropped him last season after playing so well at Boro and didn't start him in the play off semi's and seemed to have a reluctance to play him unless he had to

Not sure how people can say Yun is good enough to start in the PL when he only played around 3 games in the Championship? The Yun love comes about more because of the dislike of BAE not on the actual ability of Yun and if Harry doesn't fancy him it is because he is not good enough!

Fair points and I think H wanted the experience of BAE, despite us all knowing he was not up to the job!
But every time Yun has played for us he has looked good enough to step up and also when playing for SK and he doesn't give an outward impression of being the "wrong sort". This is one area where I would love to know the manager's thinking

I think he is definitely worth trying out and also looked good enough in the WC

Yun is injured..pal was at training ground on Sat and was told he was injured and was being treated..don't know how serious the injury is.
