Agree with you comment about foreigners always sulking, plenty of examples of overseas players who have had more heart that British based players to back that statement up. However I am worried about Remy's state of mind. He's just had the rug pulled from under him on his "dream" move to a champions league club. He now looking forward to a season of trying to avoid relegation. Its not a far stretch to wonder about his motivation.

Sure, you may be right about his mental state. But his true value is £10m+ more than Andros'

It's alright saying Remy can't be used in a trade off for a player but that may be the best way to go , you'll be very unikely to get any loyalty from a French player if another bigger club comes in for him you'll get le sulk and have to shift him for the sake of the dressing room, ok you'll get money but might not get a player as good as trade with a club that wants him might bring , therefore you know if Spurs were to offer Townsend in a deal you know you'll get quality and effort

One of the most overrated English players of the last 10 years. The fact he is hyped so much is a good indicator of why the England team are so shite. Technically mediocre, terrible link up play, greedy, overpriced and overhyped too young.

He looked good to many because he was the only person in our poor side of 2 years ago who'd take a shot or try to beat a man, and that goal against Sunderland. He wants to come back here 'cos he knows he won't get better wages anywhere else and he gets to stay in London.

There are hundreds of Andros Townsends available on the continent for significantly less. Levy will love it if this goes through.

Did you read my post I didn't say Do a deal I said might the best way to go to get a better player from a club that might want Remy cos I think he's as good you do ! and could be seen worth more than cash to a club that wants him . No I don't think all foreigners sulk but I do believe the French have very little sense of loyalty and more prone to sulk than any others I have come across , no I don't and never said I believe all British are hard working and don't sulk some do ! but far fewer by long chalk than the French , that said if you read my post you should have taken on board I was referring to Townsends work rate and disposition

Dynamic player but his end result was little different than Hoilet's. Certainly not worth £10m based on his time on loan.

Definitely better than SWP mate, but Phillips? I'm not so sure.
Hoilett isn't a wide player, hence the sh*t performances there. If he was played in the hole behind the strikers he will get us goals guaranteed and everyone's opinion on him will change. He did that in the premier league for Blackburn.
Andros would add some depth to the midfield but can he really play the wing back role? Not sure how good he is defensively.
