We did well tonight, we got in some good positions but never really hurt them...
Jay ran and put himself about, rowlands was fantastic as per usual, we didnt deserve to conceede that goal, it was totally even and in parts you could say we shaded it.
A few times i thought right were gonna go for this and we might nick it, but chelsea made there subs at the right time and terry, cole, and lampard were brought on to close up shop. Once they got that goal they did nothing, they sat back played it about when they had it and saw out time.
We had a few corners and a fair amount of free kicks in very very good positions, unfortunatly imo we only really threatend them with one very good corner from buzz. Right down the keepers throat, and it was begging for someone to put a head on it....
all in all we shouldnt be ashamed of that performance, they didnt score until they put out more of there big boys, and even then we had the bottle to attack them further, some might say we need another forward anf i would agree, like ive said we got in some great positions and we just needed someone to put a boot on it...
Onwards and upwards barnsley next, and if we put a shift in like we did tonight we can look forward to another important 3 points...
