That's got to be out back 3 surely, and rotating Rio with Hill and Dunne whenever needed.
Why then has Harry played Caulker on the right every game? Balance matters.

You may not think he turns slow but he was roasted all over the place in the champ when someone ran at him. In the prem you get strikers running at you every week as opposed to heading balls out of the box in the champ..

Your telling me a 35 yr old Dunne over a 24 year old Onuoha who is one of the quickest players at the club.

      Lets be realistic!
This year he will be even better too, what with being 3 years older n all.

Dunne was excellent for us last season and see no reason for him to be dropped.
Anybody remember Frank Mclintock when he came to us had no pace but he read the game so well and anticipated where the danger was..Dunne is similar and is a nailed on starter on the left..up to Ned to dislodge Rio for me.

Think that will be Harry's back three against Hull Am worried, as I said earlier, about Ned on the left going forward, but not defensively, mind. I'd be happy to see Clint there. I appreciate I'm in a small minority. But if Isla is as good as he's supposed to be I think we'll progress from the back along the right more than the left and with Rio sometimes giving the ball to Joey and Mutch in the middle.

I honestly cant see why anyone would disagree with a back three of Caulker Rio and Ned.. Absolute beast of a back 3!! This is the Prem now lads not the Champ.

Were now up against world class strikers with pace and trickery.. Dunne has played well and done nothing wrong recently but come on who would you prefer to be 1v1 against Sanchez or Aguero.. Dunne or the Chief?

Dunne was a mess last time he was in the Prem… I think this season will be a repeat of that sadly

                  - - - -Green
                  - Caulker Rio Ned
                  Isla - - - - - - -Traore
                  - - Barton Faurlin
                  - - - Mutch/Fer
                  - - Hoillet/Adel
                  - - - Remy

I'd play Remy up top without Austin, crowd the midfield and make sure we keep possession and control the game. Faurlin does this well, has looked good and deserves a start. I'd also get Hoillet/Adel roaming behind Remy as a #10 and creating

It's looking likely that we'll sign Fer so:

                      -------------Green-------------
                      ----Onuoha---Rio---Caulker-----
                      -Simmo--Barton--Fer--Traore-
                      ------------Mutch-------------
                      ---------Remy--Austin---------

Subs: Murphy, Dunne, Isla, Hoilett, Taarabt, Faurlin, Zamora
