i hope this it true remy would stop any deal for a massive fee for any striker

i'm don't think red chap really wants him. all the "he couldn't have failed a medical/i've never met a fitter player in all my life" stuff seemed way over the top to me - he seemed to be injured for half the time that he was with us and was out for long stretches at toon (plus he's struggled in various medicals throughout his career). i thought at the time that red chap was trying to convince potential buyers that there was a deal still to be done.

not convinced that remy will take a paycut to go to the toon though and... well, beggars can't be choosers. unless we buy three forwards sharpish, arry is going to have to work with what he's got even if that's adel and remy and their respective baggage.

**** me there is a lot of shi** posted about remy. Questioning his injury record and not wanting be here and best to get rid. Jesus even if we kept him until jan it would be a blessing. Hes a top class prem striker. Its have him for 3 months or troy(who I rate btw) and remy is on another level.
He hasnt got attitude just because he went to newcastle on loan in wc year played a blinder for them that has now got champ league teams who want, which funnily enough is because he that good.
Who are QPR to stand in his way if Liverpool come calling. Its now worked out that we might be able to keep him and if we do then we have had touch and all the moaners about remy need a reality check. We are little QPr and having someone like him would be a massive benfit and advantage to staying up whether that for 3 motnhs or for the whole year.
As for Harry wanting to keep him or not - bit of a stupid question. He scores goals for fun and is a top international player. If you saw his press conference the other day he seemed buzzing by the prospect at having remy but at the same time he siad remy has a choice to make quickly becuase of he dont want to be here hes being sold so we can do our business.

He might of come here for a pay check but he certainly wasnt no mercenary. The boy bloody earnt his money and played out of his skin. Was on top dolla at newcastle and done the business to. The boy loves hos football and has ambitions. Far from a bad egg on the pitch and if he returned he would still do the business.

He is a right sort and triffic player. Hopefully we can keep hold of him. Proper footballer too.

If we can sign another striker and keep hold of Remy (for now) then we'll be ok up front IMO. Even if Remy leaves in the January window we would've at least had his goals from now till then which is obviously a good thing. Plus we'll have that other striker to full back on... As long as we can keep hold of him this window it'll be ok IMO.

He's our best chance of staying up as things stand.

Stop looking at profit on player sales and look at the squad - if we replace him with Deeney for 8M we have taken two steps backwards.

                      This.

I haven't seen Remy **** the club off off nor treat us anything other than fairly. Clearly when we signed him it was on the basis of if a top club came in he'd be ok to leave. Nothings changed there.

Bloke is a class striker and one we wont be able to adequately replace.

Excellent. The sooner he's integrated into the squad and gets into the banter and sees it's a changed envoronment, the better chance he might actually want to stay.

Great news on Adel just got to try our hardest to keep hold of him. As for Taraabt its an understatement to say I don't like the guy, but like I said earlier he's the one with the most to prove if he's going to stay and should start every game and play as long as possible to prove himself!

Brilliant news about taarabt and remy - If them two are in are team come the start of the season then going forwards we can score goals and thats what matters. Put taarabts attitude aside for 1 minute and no one can argue on his day or at any 1 time he can create a chance out of nothing and with remy and austin around we have the strikers to convert.
If we had barton and fer behind doing the ground work and two hard working wingers, I still believe a fit adel would flourish especially with quality players around him.
