I think the high transfer fees being demanded may be a reason for the la k of signings.

I can see us panick buying on deadline day with a load of tosh. Some posters thought there would be a glut of signings after the Rio effect. I knew this would not happen as he is at the end of a fantastic career .

Clubs will hang us out to dry if we are not careful unloading there toilet on us.

now im not really one to have sleepless nights over this sort of thing but i have to admit ,with the current squad,we,d do well to finish bottom.......i will get pelters for this but the likes of faurlin,hoilett,barton will get destroyed by 90% of premier midfields.....i love charlie but without a decent foil or two he will be isolated and in trouble.....i respect tf for not going mental and overspending but i have this horrible feeling we are in it with skysports to provide them with arrys deadline day circus as usual....id rather not be seen on deadline day at all!

I don't buy we'd get smashed every game at all, look at palace they had a pony squad, so much so ollie bottled it. Pulis turned that same squad around and strung out some decent results. Let's not give up before the season has even begun, we've forgotten about the spirit the players showed and the support we showed back at wembley only a few months back to easily.

The club (board) barely supported HR last season preferring to use loans to help us get up.

Then after PBS promise to get our business done early I can't help shake the feeling that they haven't really supported Harry's efforts to get a squad together yo stay up this year...

Yes I know they have learnt from their mistakes and concerns about the FFP but going into a season with one overweight striker, one striker who got a contract based on appreciation of a 89th minute goal as our strike force and a midfield of Barton, a midfielder who has suffered a double ACL and wingers that are either pony or don't last season mostly injured.

Please tell me where I am getting this wrong with 16 days until the start of the new season.

Can anyone say they are confident of us staying up with the squad we have or the squad we will have after the lady minute supermarket dash?

Any no I'm not trying to wind anyone up or $hit stir it's just I'm bricking it.

I think its more to do with that we're not an attractive club for potential players ( poor training ground , poor ground , 2nd faves for relegation etc ) and they are waiting to see if better offers come along

Not sure we are the ideal club for a young player who wants to develop properly. Harry is a good mtivato,yes. but is the rest of our coaching team good enough in that respect? I just Wonder?

The coaching team were good enough to get spurs into the champions league and Pompey winning the fa cup
