Agree Matty but thing with Remy is he has pace and movement and could interlink with Phillips, drift wide. Would give us options. Suspect he will go and we will end up with Charlie or someone on their own though.

You are right about Henry but in the absence of signing someone I've got no problem with him breaking up play and giving ball to someone else.

Personally think we should play a 4.4.2 and with Fer looking like he'll be signing and Remy looking like he'll be staying (for now) IMO this could be a pretty solid team, my only concern would be Phillips as not really seen him at his best with us because of injury, only time will tell. Also would like to see a Ned and Caulker partnership come together for the future so would start them (I said this before Rio signed).

Interesting thing for me is alot of us cant see the 3 5 2 working....I think we look so much more balance with 4 at the back whether its a 4 4 2 or 4 2 3 1 - I think we have the players at the club to compliment those formations.

When we go 3 5 2 - I think we need to buy even more players as we dont have the players to suit that formation. Hoilett and phillips become questions marks and so does simpson for me. We'd need more cover in the three cm roles as if someone got injured at present we'd be f***ed and upfront we definitely would need atleast another striker.

We have absolutely nothing, not one quality attacking / creative midfielder (assuming AT doesn't make it).

We have one quality striker - Remy - and he might not be around either. Right now, its a relegation battle from game one.

I think your right mate. I have faith in the board and I do think we will bring in players and the right time. But by the time they do it its going to be pretty close to the end of the window then we have to give the players a bit of time to get use to their surrouundings and team mates. I think we will have a rocky start and thats the thing I find frustrating but as I have said in other threads, its not the end of the world if we don sensible long term business.
