I think Rav will be an option at the end of the window if we don't secure our targets. Personally, I don't think he'll end up here.

I thought the same, looked miles off the pace. Charlie isn't easy of the eye though to be fair, never has been but he scores goals and think he'll do alright next season. England call up, I doubt though.

Didn't it take him a few games to get into is stride last season? Yesterday was his first full game

Not talking about scoring, just general play. He looked slow and like he was snatching at his chances.

He's beaten more (wo)men in the past few days than SWP has in his Rangers career!

He should never be a consideraiton as a permanent signing as always had a shocking attitude and clearly an arrogance that makes him think he can do what he wants and doesnt have to graft to ply his trade and develope himself. The fact Fergie booted him from Utd says everything you need to know. If as a young player given the opportunity at Utd, a club renowned for improving young players and breaking them through, you can't knucke down, then it doesn't bode well.

Then at West Ham he had more issues so was loaned to Birmingham, who in turn wanted to send him back after about a month becase of further ill disipline....!!

The kid has talent and suited us as a minimal gamble loan last season, but i would never want to sign him as far too much baggage. Makes Adel look like the consumate pro ffs.

Must be something in it though if he has been charged.

Plus given his background, it's hard to assume otherwise....

Not really sure this is fair, at least not in terms of on pitch behaviour. Did you actually watch him play for us or West Ham last season? The guy works hard, is solid defensively, very switched on tactically, always encouraging team mates.

Just because someone is talented doesn't mean they have to be lazy and arrogant too.

Here's an interesting piece on him and why his relationship with Fat Sam broke down (blames Sam pressuring him into signing up to WH's favoured agent, basically): http://www.theguardian.com/football/...m-united-waste

We'll have to see what happens with this court case though, on the face of it he obviously doesn't come out of it too well...

Im not talking about on the pitch. Clearly he is not right behind the scenes and in training otherwise he wouldn't have been ditched by Utd, very close to being booted at Birminghm when on loan, and Sam at West Ham doesnt want him. It cant be coincidence now can it?

Interestingly Harry never used him much in the play-off games either, makes you wonder whether he was trusted on the big occasions. As for us signing him again, Harry has said publicly a few times that he doesn't see him coming back here and other than a few poor bits of journalism, there has been no suggestion anywhere that we are particularly interested in bringing him back.
