we have stayed away from the media attention of it at all because we have more or less just had loan players go back to their other clubs but the reality is we are in the same boat!
    At last some realism.

Realism. Come on, they have sold their first 11 near on. We have got a great core and havent got rid of one first team regular. Why do people do this to make us look as bad as people that are doing terrible. Last week blackpool, had a bettter squad, this week its southampton. Dont get it, i really dont.

We need bodies just like Southampton, but they've basically lost their entire first 11, we haven't.

They have sold, Lovren, Shaw, Lallana, Lambert out of their main 11.
We have lost, Kranjcar, Benayoun, O'Neill, Tom Carroll, JJ, Ravel, Johnson, Doyle out of our main 11 really so I would say at LEAST one of them was a 1st team regular when fit.. We have kept Austin, Barton, Green and Ned, Hill/ Dunne who were the spine yes, so that's good..

We have 17 players who are 100% staying.. I have left out Adel, Remy, Cesar, Jenas, SWP - The rest are EDS as it stands.
Southampton have 16/17 as it stands and that is without counting Rodriguez and Shneiderlin..

We aren't getting the same coverage because the players leaving Southampton are at a diff level to ours.

Chambers to Arsenal. Schniederlin and Rodriquez going this week. Whatever way you look at it they are decimating the team that did so well for them, we are not.

                  I am not denying that?

You cannot deny we have decimated our team from last year Kevin? We have 16 contracted 1st team players now.. 9 of them under the age of 30.
We have kept the core yes but we have decimated the team..
Burnley and Leicester have kept all of theirs not just their core.

If you say burnley and liecester are better off than us then yeah totally agree, but to compare us to the shite the saints are in is really unfair.

For me all depends how Koeman does. If he brings in right players they will be fine. They have consistently said he will have money to spend so we will see how he spends it. They won't do as well as last year but wouldn't surprise me to see them around the middle.

We are prob worse off than Saints when you look at the quality of squad, the average age and prem experience they have now.. The reality is we are in the same sh1ite haha.
They are also in a better position to add better players than us.

Southampton still have.. Clyne, Yoshida, Ward-Prowse, Jack Cork, Ramirez, Jose Fonte, Hooivelt, Tadic, Pelle, the last 2 they have just signed.
What with a hugely more successful youth academy.

If he brings in the right players agreed, bit also if we bring in the right players, we have less to do to get an experienced starting eleven. Time will tell in the next three weeks.

                                Spot on!

It doesn't matter that we've kept our core when our squad is largely shite. And our only two genuine match winners - Remy & Taraabt - look like they'll move on.

People are deluded if they think Dunne Hill SWP Zamora Barton Simpson Henry etc. are going to make the grade this year. That's a good championship side but a ****ing dreadful premiership one.

Southampton have a good academy, lots of cash, a record of spending wisely on players with resale value and a decent manager with good connections. We've got an obsession for free transfers and Arry Redknapp filling his mates coffers.
