    He's broken.

Barely lasted 60 mins per game in his last season at Spurs and hasn't got any better back at HSV.

Top player in his day but that day is long long gone.
Meet me by the railway tracks

Van der Vaart ready to snub QPR and stay at Hamburg

Dutch star rules out reunion with Rangers boss Harry Redknapp. Get West London revealed on Tuesday that Redknapp was plotting a move for the 31-year-old, who played under him at Spurs.

However, van der Vaart insists he has no intention of leaving the German side, with 12 months still to run on his deal at the Imtech Arena.

"I am able to understand a top-earner and skipper of any club being criticised after such a disastrous campaign," the playmaker told Bild.

"I certainly had a weak second phase of the season. I am looking forward to having a much better campaign alongside my Hamburg team-mates. I am going to play for Hamburger SV in the new season. To make sure the supporters are getting the good Rafael and not the weak one from those last few months!"

They are desperate to get shot of him - he's not quite so desperate to leave. As above, he's broken and their biggest wage earner by a huge distance.

I TOLD YOU!!!( Arry Interested in R. Van der Vaart)

I have told you all, it's a possible scenario we would get him!!!

Apparently his club hit the rock bottom and he would not want to risk his club going down especially as he has reputation!!!

They also understand the man who thrilled Harry Redknapp when the two were at Tottenham is looking to tie up his financial future in what is set to be the last big pay-day of his career.

True. but I have been watching Hamburg playing for 3 years, he is one very hardworking lad with passion.

I know his wage amount will be of bitter consideration to us, but with a certain belief that he can produce result, it could be a good signing.
