Yeah, I agree. Be interesting to see how he sets up. I know you need cover etc but the chief deserves (and I think is good enough) his place. There's been talk of 3 at the back but can't help that's Harry being Harry.

I think there's a thread on this so gonna nip off and take a look on peoples opinions.

cheif is not better then caulker and rio. Can understand the sentiments behind saying he deserves it but unfortunately footballing wise he's not as assured as either of them.

Maids I know it sounds crazy but I think there still improvement in him. Would hate to see him away.

Mate I rate ned highly and dont want it to sound like I dont. Was fantastic for us last year and I thought he was a sure in for cb role this year as I never envisaged us signing both rio and caulker. But we have and if its a flat back 4 then rio and caulker should get the nod as they are better players. We might even be playing a back 3 and if we are then brilliant becuase ned, rio and caulker would be one hell of a back 3 but if not I still think ned will get plenty of game time, leanr from rio a hell of a lot and next season him and caulker at the heart of the defence would be some partnership.

I rate Ned highly too. Now we have competition for places at CB which is exactly what we need. Rio won't play 38 matches this season and there will be the usual strains and suspensions, so all three will get in lots of playing time. We now seem to be in good shape at CB and this is a good problem to have!

I reckon Harry will pick Dunne ahead of Onouha

I like Ned also but he always looks slightly panicked on the ball, he is a good defender and would probably be a good man marker like Maddix or Parker but bringing the ball out of defence, hmmmm, in a back 3 all must be comfortable on the ball.
                        Kept the faith!

im glad clint will be able to be used sparingly as i didnt want to see him become a whipping boy for speedy, skillfull prem league forwards.....

An old CB will use the following against a speedy forward. Kick him. If he ain't got legs he can't run!
