Fact is ned will have to fight for his place next year as its now a fact there are two better cb's at the club. Mark my words caulker is the better player all day long. Thats not saying ned is rubbish dont take it the wrong way. It seems to me a lot of people are letting feelings towards ned rule their head over this decision.
Caulker and ferdinad in a back four should be the first choice.
Ned will be so important though we have depth in that position now and with injuries and rios age, im sure he will get his fair share. But we need to stay up next year and caulker and rio should be the heart of our defence.
