We certainly seem more prudent and with a plan in place. I also think people really underestimate the fact like any business, that multi million pund deals are not as simple as they happen to be on football manager.
Tf has also put out to the press this morning about agents only getting 5 % of any deal or they can do one, so tome it seems there probaly is a lot of people still trying to take the p*** with QPR.
I also dont think we as a club are saying you can only play if you love QPR but they certainly seem to be looking for players with the desire to play football and have pride in their work and thats brilliant.

And how many times did I read last season that we need to give our squad players a chance to impress. What better time than now, during a pre-season tour. Can't say I expect many of them to excel but out of the 12 or so that are going along for the ride, let's see who stands up to the count

In Tony and our scouts we trust. Not sure it will pay off this summer though.

i honestly cant believe that tony thinks he can attract prem quality players to our club without paying higher than avrage wages or agents fees.

i predict yet another messy tensfer window and a painful season. hope im wrong though

Whilst I hated the way we piled any player in when we were last in the premiership - we need to hurry up or I fear a repeat of Swansea and Bolton when we play hull

The caulker situation is beyond a joke now and I just wonder with lovren Liverpool bound whether he will end up at Southampton

I genuinely thought we would have 2 more in ahead of this tour

Come on rangers - sort it out

So what are we now saying that throwing money at players and overpaying what someone is worth (Basically hat we done two years ago) was in fact the correct thing to have done??

In all fairness mate, we probaly can't and thats why as fans and the owener need to be realistic. We should be following suit of other promoted clubs and buying the best from the championship who we can afford or picking up a couple of foreign bargins ect.

Its why I get annoyed with expectations on here sometimes. Last year all we craved was prem football and the chance to do things right and bring in the right players. A lot seem to have forgotten that now and expect us to sign like for like replacemnt for remy again and put their noses up to some of the decent players from the championship as they are not tested.

No point spendings stupid amounts on wages or transfer fees as we are still in a precarious financial position

If we sign one or two more and get rid of a couple of others then we have done well

In modern day football never underestimate team spirit and togetherness which this team seems to have in abundance , Palace showed last season you don't need a group of superstars but a team with a set game plan and hard work to survive.

The fans shouldn't panic and start writing off this team without even a ball being kicked

You'll never keep all the fans happy all the time (unless we win the CL), whatever TF or the manager do or say it will sit comfortably with some and not others. I just love all the no it alls that spout on about what we should or shouldn't do and then moan when things change.
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Agreed, I'm in Brighton and fans down here can't believe they got £7m for Ulloa, think he is a right cart horse. Seen him a few times and actually think decent quality Championship striker but £7M? Crazy money.
