I know what you mean, but and it`s a big but, we can`t hardly put a first team out never mind having a good squad to choose from.
To the outside world we must look like a 5 a side tuesday night team the way things are going recently.
How many players are going on tour as it stands?
Most of which are either injury prone getting on or won`t see any premier league action anyway.

Like you and everyone else I'd have preferred to have done more business earlier, but I suppose what us and other clubs experience shows a shift in the way transfers are conducted these days by agents, and why there's so much business done in the final few days of a transfer window.
