I understand the sentiment behind Clint Hill remaining Captain but I believe we need a Captain who is expected to play in every game of the season.
Swapping Captains every now and then or even during a game (potentially) does not speak of the authority required on a constant basis.
For me it has to be Joey Barton and I believe he has earned the right after last season!
Of course ne must continue with the same form and calmness as he showed last season and I think he will.

to be fair I made a bad call with saying yes for RIO - It has to barton imo as other have pointed out I think he deseres and on the basis clint will see little playing time this year Barton gets the nod.
