Rio has the most successful stats of any player in the history of QPR - yet some fans aren't happy
Yes, he's getting on, so was Nelsen, Dunne, etc
He may not have the legs and fitness of old but does that detract from his football knowledge, brain and experience - not IMO
He also looks like he really wants to be here and his influence is going to be massive
LET'S ALL GET BEHIND HIM, BE POSITIVE AND BACK OUR PLAYERS

I do however think with only league games to worry about and rest between them he'll play most of them.

Reading through the posts on here, people have said he missed games because Moyes didn't like him, or that Dunne notched X amount of appearances, or that Giggs said he was the fittest player at Utd. Based on what has been said, is it unreasonable to expect 30 games from him this season? I remain to be convinced of that likelihood, and as I've said, I'd be delighted if he does and willing to eat humble pie.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

So I'm not trying to be funny with you but I still don't get your point...

He was fully fit 95% of the entire season.
Source: Man Utd's official stats.
Ryan Giggs told Harry that if he had still been manager Rio would have been his 1st choice CB.
But I suppose even the above wont satisfy you.
Only never played last season as Moyes wanted to shake things up

I've seen too many types like Hateley Park and Dyer to be totally sold on this.
Like I've said numerous times, I remain unconvinced, and will be the first to say I was wrong if he plays well and a large number of games this season.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

His influence, knowledge and wealth of experience in and around the club, training ground, dressing room........the fact that his signing will attract further players who otherwise would most likely turn us down.........the fact that his salary is nothing like what's been rumoured and reported.......the fact that it's only a one year deal........the fact that he had far more lucrative offers elsewhere but chose us......the fact that he was one of Man Utd's fittest players last season...etc...the list goes on...
