But it will be an overdue end to the saga either way.
If it fails then at least we know and we can move on to the next target..... Better than waiting forever for a better deal from another club, ala Hooper.

    Good work from the board

To be fair I don't think its a tactic or it is something you could class as failure if he doesn't sign, surely this is just a case of you have had enough time, you know our intentions now sign or we will pursue other targets we have .

If he signs, sweet. If not then I really don't care. Come on people, it's only steven caulker. Shipped out of spurs then captained a relegated team conceding the most goals in the league. I'm glad we've giving him this ultimatum, loads of centre backs around Europe who are better or same level as him.

Very harsh assesment. left spurs as a 20 year old as wanted first team football. Was cb and outstanding that season for a very good swansea side. he made the mistake of joining cardiff yes but played excpetionally well for them. Was remy a poor player at qpr? No we were relegated as a team, even though some players could lift their heads high.

Just stating facts mate. He was near on top of my wanted list at qpr when we got promoted, it's this waiting around waiting for Liverpool to come in which is doing my head in and making me want to move on from him. If he doesn't want to sign he's wasting our time so fark him.

Agreed. Think he has had enough time now though. Think 2weeks?? Can't waste more time as need players in. Although caulker would be my first choice out of Dawson vaalar and lascelles, so hopefully he is on board this time tomorrow 😄😄

This is correct we have some proper deluded fans, we have to be one of the least desirable destinations for any premier league player to sign for yet people think we should be the be all an end all.

Caulker has a right to think things through or consider all his options. Out of us and Palace I think Palace would be the better footballing decision so I wouldn't be surprise to see him sign for them.

I can understand all them frustrations mate, I feel exactly the same too and there definitely needs to be a limit to how much we let anyone string us along. Truth is we dont know everything going on behind the scenes. The lad would be a hell of a coup, hes a top talent and just imo mate it took alot of balls to move from a top club at 20 because he wanted to play football, to many youngsters sit around doing f all. he starred for swansea that season and last year was a top player again in a poor cardiff team.

Better footballing decision as in playing alongside Damien Delaney and Danny Gabbidon for a non-football playing dinosaur manager like Pulis who will direct Caulker to hoof the ball 80 yards upfield whenever he gets the ball?

                        Good shout.

Lol the post you responded to did make me chuckle. Palace a better footballing decision than us with pulis in charge. We are aspiring to be a better club and now in a position to certainly surpass palace over the next few years and thats not saying we will become an elite team but hopefully a established prem team that migh once in a while flirt with a europa place or decent progression in a cup.

Slagging off fellow fans calling them deluded because they have a different opinion to you is poor form.

I disagree with you saying we are one of the least desirable destinations for prem players. I would say Leicester Burnley WBA Villa and perhaps Sunderland would be worse options than us. It depends on what players we bring in this summer.

As for Palace, I don't think there's much between the two. It's a matter of opinion. And of course the player has every right to weigh up his options as you say.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

If he does sign for us I get the feeling I won't warm to him as I know he probably doesn't want to be wholeheartedly with us.

I'm a bit if a sulker like that.

to right, hes a decent player but had a poor season last year with relegation , plus, 9 mill for a defender, there would be loads of other opportunities for that type of cash for similar players
