  • Can we really expect quality signings this season

As we will be seen as a relegation club?

I think we can - we are based in london, we have money and it plain to see our owners have ambition. Think we need to just get 1 over the line and show we mean business and a few more will follow.

That entirely depends on what your concept of "quality" is. Personally, I'm excited by the prospect of bringing in Ferdinand, Sigthorsson, Fer and (possibly) Caulker - That will be a pretty healthy start in my opinion. For me, the real worry is that we have let so many players go (admittedly, most were not good enough) and this will lead to the culture we had a few seasons back of signing quantity over quality, especially on Transfer Deadline Day...I think it is inevitable that we will bring players in on 31st August anyway, I just hope that Arry doesn't simply get carried away. A big part of our fortunes this season will rely on whether we can keep our "star" players or not - if we can, then we have to consider ourselves in with a very decent shout of finishing mid / lower mid table.

I don't think our status is particularly different to another 8-10 sides in the division and agree with maids that London makes us a little more attractive. Think the biggest problem we will have is agents/players expectations of what rangers will pay them as I reckon we are at a different place now to our previous farce of PL life
