  • Have you changed your opinions.....

on any of our rival teams and how you think they will fair against us next year since they signed new players?

I ask as it pains me to say but have been quietly impressed by the three signing west ham have made. Always thought zarate was a quality little player, the columbian they are signing looks decent and creswell was a cracking signing. Also looks like Newcastle doing some decent business with some very tidy players coming in.

I think Hull could surprise a few people this year and although I am no fan of Steve Bruce he can certainly get the best out of a player these days and also Ince is a cracking signing for them

I agree mate, some very shrewd signings made by them and personally think they will be safe next year.

Dont want to knock Burnley, and no doubt this will come back to bite me, but some of their signings wouldn't look out of place at a championship side.

Personally Maids, I tend to look when the window is shut and squads named. Until then, it really is impossible to predict and even after that, getting it right is a lottery. I'm going to play it by the book and say, take each game as it comes and see where we are at come Christmas

Admittedly, Newcastle and West Ham have bought well. When all is said and done though, we only need to finish above 3 other sides to have a successful season.....If we can't perform better in this league (with our financial clout) than the likes of Leicester, Burnley, West Brom, Aston Villa (who have made some shocking signings by the way) and Sunderland, then we really don't deserve to be in it.

They are, but not to the extent where you would say we couldn't be able to finish above them.

Burnley will surprise everyone I reckon, ginger mourinho will get the best out of their players. Ings and Vokes will make the step up. Hull will do well, Palace will suffer second season syndrome and Swansea will struggle. I said the other week that I think West Ham will do well. Villa and Leicester to struggle.

Burnley done wonderful last season but think they're in for a whole world of hurt this time. Same with Leicester.

We may need more reconstruction in terms of playing personnel than these two sides but we have a massive advantage in that we know what to expect and know what's needed. I expect us to be comfortable this season (transfers permitting).

West Brom have an absolute poop of a manager. Expect them relegated by Xmas.

I think the obvious 2 Fox's, Clarets plus Saints, Swans, Sjoke and Sunderland will struggle. Just don't see any of them doing well, Hull, Brom and Spam may also find the going tough. I really feel we have a great chance of finishing above the drop
