Add in a handful of youngsters and we should have plenty more than 15. Yes out of all those above either we are looking to move some on or they are looking to move on but assuming we recruit at roughly the same rate we get rid it shouldn't be quite as dire as 'Arrold is making out and we have Ferdinand lined up already and have offers in for others. As someone else has said think he is maybe doing his usual to try and put some pressure on Fernandes to fund some more deals.

No sorry I meant Alan Brazil mentioned we had an offer accepted for him just after the interview. I think he had forgotten to ask HR about it and just remembered.

Yes, it was a bit of a shame. Brazil's comments on the Ajax player isn't in the clip - but he said something like "I see they are also being linked with whatever his name is for about 5M Euros and he's a decent player. He suggested that a few people in the Scottish game (Celtic names I think) know of hom and talk highly of him.....or something like that

Yes but I think my point is we expect some or all of them to leave but we are also in the process of recruiting so we currently have about 20 plus youngsters now and will probably end up with that. No need to panic yet. We need to improve without doubt but if you think of the wages that will be freed up and the willingness to spend a reasonable amount we should be ok.

I take your point, although Cesar & Remy are not expected back until next week following World Cup !

Been saying for weeks we need 10 odd players and people think im crazy - saying we dont want to do that again ect, learn from last time...But as I been saying we dont have a choice, we have 15 players at best at the club with 2 or 3 of them to leave. - we need to buy 4 or 5 decent first team players but also we need to add depth to the squad with 4 or 5 back up players. Whether thats done by giving jenas, oneil and zamora deals or bringing new faces in.
Whether we like it or not this summer should be a rebuilding project but the one we get right for the long term future of the club so we dont ever find ourselves in this postion again. We need a core of players who are tied down to us for the next 2,3 or 4 years.
