So minimum we need about 7 or 8 new players. That's still a lot. This is all set up for a transfer deadline day supermarket sweep. I can see it now, the resigning of Tom Carroll and Will Keane on loan.

So Harry says one thing - i.e Granero wants out, the player himself says different: http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport...return-7190764

So who's speaking the truth? I wish I could trust what Harry says, but I don't. He always seems to be angling for something.

Don't think any of the World Cup players are back, as I didn't see Yun in the video yesterday.

Also players wanting to leave and actually leaving is not exactly the same thing. One of the players could be Zamora, because we saw him at training.

He is a wheeler and dealer, a wide boy and plays the media game well/poorly!!
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

His 666 Casino television ad is pish poor (probably unlike himself after getting paid for it).
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

Whether thats done by giving jenas, oneil and zamora deals or bringing new faces in.
Whether we like it or not this summer should be a rebuilding project but the one we get right for the long term future of the club so we dont ever find ourselves in this postion again. We need a core of players who are tied down to us for the next 2,3 or 4 years.
Sure we need to stabilize things, but can't see 10 players signing long term.
One thing is for sure that next summer we need another 10 because Murphy, Hill, Dunne, Onuoha, Barton, Faurlin, Granero, Henry, Taarabt, SWP, and if signed Ferdinand, Zamora, O'Neill, Jenas only have contract until next summer - this is 13 players

Spot on.... Looks we find ourselves in a vicious circle which we see year in and year out, and always will with 1 year contracts/extensions.

So what?? Just like Harry sometimes is accused of, this player can have his own supposed agenda. Personally, I donīt know whose version is most credible, though.

We will bring in 8,9 or 10 players. Harry will prob at least want 4 or 5 new first team players to give us a chance of staying up. Lets say rio, caulker, fer and siggutsson all sign, I bet hed still want another 1 or 2 midfielders and for some reason he's been looking at rb and lb positions. So lets say 6 players brought in and we add oneil and zamora to that then we are at 8 straight away.
If we bring 6 in on long deals it means next year we'd have around 14 players still on mid to long term deals rather than being in the same place with only 8 or 9 this year. Once again at the end of next year the player you mention will have to be looked at on how they have done whether they get longer deals or not and yes we will need to invest again. But thats football, you constantly have to invest.
At present if you looked at our squad list we maybe have 7 or 8 on mid to long term deals we definitely need to add to that this year.
