Agree it has the potential tb an exciting partnership but im concerned way too much is expected of austin in his first prem season. This division is littered with so many strikers who looked unplayable in the championship but never made it in the top flight. Remember danny graham and how he tore us apart at loftus rd and we were desperate to sign him? Now available for a million. Hooper did ok at norwich but was not considered the top player some talked him up to be. Or what about that leeds striker who we all salivated over who went to everton then disappeared? Im a fan of charlie and think he cd be a gd player but lets not over-burden him with expectation. If he gets into double figures next term in a team likely to be in or around the relegation zone it will be a major achievement. For remy-austin tb talked about as a top prem partnership they will, for instance, need to keep pace with van percy and rooney or wellbeck to give just one example. Things are looking a bit more optimistic on the transfer front but lets not be typical rangers and suddenly build ourselves up to be world beaters then get all suicidal when we lose the odd match by several goals, which is bound to happen quite a bit in our first season back.
