Would be happy with all 3 tbh. Kane proved last year he can score goals in the prem and is a real handful up front. Runs for everything, battles and good in the air. Does have better supply there though and would say he needs 3 chances to score 1 but is young and would be a excellent signing.
Again with rose hes like simpson to me. Someone we can rely on got the prem experience, not the best lb in the prem but good enough for us and someone we could rely on to put a shift in.
As for ltc I think hed be good on a loan and as squad player. We need a bit of depth wouldnt want him starting every week but he could be useful at times.

Harry Kane I'm not a big fan off, but could do a job for us, still young and shouldn't cost that much.
Tom Carroll I'd have back in a heartbeat.He's shown enough quality in Europa and premier lge games to suggest he could be a very good playmaker.The premier lge is less physical then the championship, and is more about technique so I'd have know problem with him in this league, also he is still young and will start to fill out as he gets older.

Good thread and it shows how hard it is going to be please everyone.

Some are prepared to youth a chance and happy to see us signing the likes of LTC and take a chance. Last season he had good spells in games and bad spells where he got caught but all the time look cool and composed with lots of potential.

The old days (and i say that because it is), the crowd and club would give the support and time to develop these players to put on weight and strength, however these have passed and people want the finished article (which is the reason why we have so many foreigners IMO and our players growth in stunted).

Others don't want to experienced old personnel like Rio, as they see then as mercenaries people looking to retire in the green playing field and graze why they have one last pay day. This i also understand as we have had enough of these over the years and it keeps killing the heart and soul of the club.

IMO - and blend of both is needed, we saw against Derby a better team, beaten by experience who knew how to find a way to win and who wanted it is as much as the opposition. We need the like of LTC, with the Bartons and Rio's in key positions to help pass on the knowledge "how to win" this will then enable when Rio / Barton retire us to continue to grow and move up. All the people we have been linked with i would be happy with Rio and LTC.

But this subject just shows we will never please everyone

I think your right about rose in a lot of ways mate. I still think hes a realistic signing and one harry would want. For some reason yun dont seem to get much of a look in and I genuineley think he could step up.

Wouldn't be too interested in Danny Rose, we already have 1 left back that doesn't know how to defend in the squad, we don't need another one. Tom Carroll I'd only take if he's dirt cheap, not worth a sizeable transfer fee in my opinion as he is a very long way from being the finished article or being ready for Premiership football. Harry Kane on the other hand could be a very useful addition.

All of that said, we are responding to something that Facto has heard down the pub..............We might as well be speculating as to which players in tonight World Cup final will be playing for us next season!

Toure bullies most midfielders, and I doubt he'd get bullied by ramires. The championship is alot more physical than the premier league and he will probably be more suited to the premier lge rather than the championship.Tom Carroll over the next two/three yrs will bulk up naturally and get stronger, players like Carrick, Modric, Ramires and Fletcher were all physically similar to ltc when they were in their early twenties and look at them now.Lets not make the same mistake we keep making as a nation and let a players size be a factor in whether he's any good.
