Hope we know where he is going really soon,as been dragging on far to long. If he doesn't come to us then that's fine as quite clear he is only chasing the £,but tbh who wouldn't at his age!! Time for our scouts to start earning their wages as surely there must be some very good centre halfs which fit into our criteria playing in the likes of France,Germany league's etc.

We've not signed players before, we've lost out on players who've decided to sign for other teams (for whatever reason) before.
Why do we have to go through this hysteria now, blaming whoever we can, claiming evidence of mismanagement and incompetence, and swearing undying hatred of the player involved and 'he's two bob anyway'
We apparently competed for a player with a club of effectively equal standing (and arguably a more stable position currently) and he chose the other one.
Fair enough. We have moaned and moaned about our transfer and contract policies over the last couple of years, I'm glad that there appears to be some evidence that we're not going to go exclusively down that route anymore.
It will be frustrating, and probably more so because of the media and Harry's inability to say 'no comment', but as long as we aren't repeating our previous mistakes, I feel a bit more relaxed about the future of the club long-term.
Let's not go back to this please.
Love the video. From The Little Rascals in the 30's.Used to regularly watch a collage of their adventures when I was a kid.The hi sign and alfalfa spring to mind. Thanks for the nostalgic trip Deepcut.

hands up I have thrown the toys out of the pram this morning and had a right old moan worst than my 4 year old little girl - tbf just hard to swallow that its palace that have beaten us to this signature. I seriously dont expect to compete with the likes of spurs, everton, liverpool and even southampton but I do without being bias think we are a better than palace and going forward with our ambitions I still believe we will be a prem club long term. I dont want to see money spunked for the sake of it any more but I do feel there are times when you can above and beyond for certain players, not to silly levels but enough to compete with palace.
I also believe Caulker is a exceptional talent and I know others don't on here and I respect that, just think he would of been a hell of a coup and if our fans had been given the chance to see him live week in week out rather than make assumption because he was part of a releagated team I think alot would of quickly agreed what a good player he is and a snip at 8 mill.
Im not worried we havent signed anyone yet or panicking over that I think there still a couple of weeks before we have to worry about that, but I am starting to worry a little about how we approach these deals and who is selling the club to the players. We are not the biggest club in the world but if we want to grow this club like the owners do we have to match the ambitions of palace, west brom, leicester, burnley ect or we might as well wave the white flag.

Into a corner so he has to give in when all the others are snapped up. Why we just can't say anything until deals are done, like many other clubs we'll end up desperate again overages overpaid players, all because H.R. Doesn't like youth?

Lets wait and see what happens chaps same paper said he was nailed on for signed for us now he is nailed on for signing for Alice it would appear there covering all bases
Hoillet before he signed was nailed on for us then was going to Germany then he signed for us so you never know. If we offered him the same deal or even more money and he turned us down then fair play its embarrassing but if he is getting a better deal from them then its a no brainer in my book he's not a QPR fan so you go where the best deal is simple

Not exactly the most reliable source. Not reported anywhere else as yet.
There's still hope. U'R's
Was just thinking that myself - probably clutching at straws etc but 1 reporter saying it with no quotes. Could be a ploy to get caulker a better deal with us or to get southampton or Liverpool to come in at the 11th hour
The ominous sign is that sky bet have suspended bets
Not over till the fat lady sings although would be good to have clarity so at least the club can move on to other targets

Five other reports on NewsNowQPR but no news of him signing for palace on Wiki and they're normally on the ball if a player joins a new club.
