I would not say that. I am sure Fulham said that at the start of last season about Palace stayed up and they dropped. Man Utd would not have expected to drop out the top four and be replaced by Liverpool in it

Palaces squad last season was probably more dire then ours now but with organisation and a will to win they got over the line comfortably
