Anyone thought that maybe Remy is one of the bad apples we want rid off,.....it's a possibility
Can't see it tbh. Didier Deschamps picked him for the France WC squad despite leaving out players like Nasri because as he put it, he wanted a unity within the dressing room.
Of course Newcastle are a bigger club - massive and serial underachievers like Leeds (to a degree), Wednesday and Wolves.
From a footballing operations point of view, in the reality of PL football in 2014, there's no way we should consider selling him to a club that WILL be a relegation rival this season.
Problem is we have fans that think Rangers are the be all and end all. Yes we love the club but to the outsider we are small fry & bottom of most players list I'd pretty much imagine. Some need to get real in all honesty.
except that remy already turned Newcastle down for qpr........premier league player has to take into account how game the girls are...I don't think........house prices a problem for someone on 80k a week...problem not.
well known that chairman and pardew are a bit of a mare...that's why joey left....he stood up to the chairmen over a bonuses issue......small city Newcastle...players have described it as living in a fishbowl...think that was simpson.
52k crowd is impressive but im guessing that's fairly low on the list of a players priorities
If Bony is worth £20m and Remy is available for £8m, he must have a buy out clause.
However, there is nothing to stop Fernandes offering Remy a new contract with even higher wages and in return ripping up the release clause. This might make financial sense as not only would his goals give a huge boost to our survival chances, it would also mean that when he does leave Rangers - and he surely will at some point if he carries on scoring in the top flight - it will be for a lot more than £8m.
If Arsenal won't pay his wages and Newcastle wouldn't before, is there just a tiny chance he might stay anyway (or as I suggest above, Tony offer him the bit extra to keep him)?
except that remy already turned Newcastle down for qpr. He joined them on loan if you've forgotten.......premier league player has to take into account how game the girls are...I don't think........house prices a problem for someone on 80k a week...oh right so you're a property expert now. Open your mind pal people don't throw money away for property regardless of occupationproblem not.
well known that chairman and pardew are a bit of a mare...that's why joey left....he stood up to the chairmen over a bonuses issue......small city Newcastle...players have described it as living in a fishbowl...so? No different from Liverpool or Glasgow. Another pointless onethink that was simpson.
52k crowd is impressive but im guessing that's fairly low on the list of a players prioritiesyea I suppose 18,000 Loftus Rd is something he dreams of running out too
what makes you think im not a property expert...is buying property throwing money away?
the special one has bought a bunch of London property with his swag
remy did turn toon down....then on loan turned down a perm
player buys house in London say 2mill ...same size in toon 1 mill....player still recoups his money 4 years later of whenever he leaves...in fact more chance of making a profit in London
maybe Glasgow and Liverpool are fishbowls too but so toon has been described...Glasgow not in the prem...Liverpool are real challengers and toon are not....remy has stated he is keen on London
I didn't say he dreams about LR's 18,000..i said crowd capacity is probably a low priority....ive heard remy mention preferring London and wanting CL but never heard him talk about capacity
