Massive crisis - How tf and harry wipe their own backsides is beyond me. Good thing this was brought up now, I bet they havent even thought about what they are going to do with the GK situation. If we leave it down to them we might just have murphy left, clueless t***s.
I mean Harry is so inexperienced and tf has no business nous we are doomed at this rate, how could they forget the gk situation like this and with only 8 weeks to go before the window shuts. Amateurs.

Hes not as good as some make out but he is equally not as bad. We would have as much chance of going down with him in goal as we would with Green or any other keeper who is going to be in goal with a side who is going to be bottom end of the table

Just as some have been blinded by Adel's wonder season in the championship think some have become star struck by Greens efforts last season (again in the Championship) and forgot some of his glaring errors last time in the top flight at home to WBA just one example

As said before given choice would have Green as number one but if he don't want to sign taking a wage drop ta da Cesar is equally capable of doing the job Green would
oh come on west wba was a foul 10 times out of 10....yet we get a ref who thinks it was a perfectly good challenge. Same thing happened at derby
last season and yes that was a foul too.
How about the few chances he got one being the southampton game....
I can reel off a list of cesars ba**sups been done to death. I think it speaks volumes this world class keeper couldn't find a club....

It was not a foul Dave if he stands his ground and the player backs into him its a foul when you voluntarily retreat behind your line and the striker then takes the space you should have been in its an error but we done this at the time of the game so no point getting into it again.

Your right when he came on at Southampton he was blinding and got us the points not arguing that mate but if were being honest we could both call up as many errors by Green as there have been Cesar and vice versa

There two evenly matched keepers in my book. And just like our other alleged world class player cant find a club because of his attitude (not because he does not have the ability) Cesar cannot find a club because of his wage demands (not because hes not a decent keeper) as if Cesar put a notice out saying im happy to play for 10k a week do you not think most top clubs would be showing an interest??

Anyway like yourself I would retain Green and shift Cesar if we can

Cesar not getting a move was more down to his wage demands Imo, same reason we managed to get him in the first place.

Good GK but not one teams are prepared to break the bank to sign (unless you're QPR circa summer 2012).

Ok opinions west. I do think if that had been a top 6 keeper it would've been given as a foul but I won't argue over it, as that's a different story again.
I hope if Cesar does stay and does be our no1 that you are right, i mean that, I don't want Rangers going down again and if he does better (because i feel he needs to be better) than last
time then I'll be as happy as anyone, simply because we probably will be ok if whoever is in goal has a good season.

Have to agree with West on this one. Green is decent but not fantastic and the same applies to Cesar. Having one or t'other in goal next season won't change our fortunes much. Let's not forget the reason we brought in Cesar in the first place - because Green had looked very shaky. Green certainly redeemed himself last season but let's also not forget that was the Championship, not the Premier League. If I had to choose straight up I would take Cesar but Green has a lot of brownie points after last season so it is now pretty much a toss up for me, since Green's influence on team spirit may make up the difference between the sticks.

I reckon both of these guys will cost us points

Green just ain't that good and while Cesar was decent for us the first time round (Arsenal match springs to mind) I reckon he's done.

I think its safe to say you wont see cesar in goal for us again.

What do people want - we was all banging on last year how we need to keep cohesion and not make whole sale changes but atm seems we just want to change players for the sake of it. Green can more than hold his own in the prem and saw enough last year to know he's a good steady keeper, will make the odd clanger but so do the best in the worl it happens its bloody football and human error occurs.
We need to get a grip. Green, Austin, joey, simpson players like that deserve and should be part of our first 11 next year, keep the team spirit we built last year sprinkeled with a bit of quality. There are far more positions to worry about then gk now.
Really happy green is staying, showed loyalty last year and impressed with his performances. What did he do wrong not to play as our number 1?

Green had a great season in the Championship but not sure that is a basis to claim he can more than hold his own in the Premiership. Playing well against Yeovil/Doncaster and Birmingham is a lot different to facing Premiership teams.

Green was great last season and what he had to do he did well. Next season though whoever is in goal will have a lot more to do which means a higher possibility of errors. Green has had some shockers ( The WBA was not a foul and was a shambles from him ) but i struggle to recall an error from Cesar on a par with that one from Green or the one he made against Swansea at home.

Fact is a massive difference from last season to this is that teams this season are going to have a lot more attempts/chances. Cesar has already proved for QPR in the Premiership he can pull off save after save and win QPR points. Green hasn't done this for QPR and I don't have that same confidence in Green that he can do it. I hope I am wrong.

green has also played prem football before for a long time and even been an england gk - think that shows his calibre. People choose to remember one off mistakes rather than the good points.

Green also wasnt first choice in the prem so hardly has the chance to show us week in week out becaise of that idiot hughes.

I just never feel 100% comfortable with Green in goal. I and I think others feel that an error or mistake is not far away. When he gets away with one you get people looking at each other thinking "nearly". Then at home to Millwall he costs us 2 points by pushing a tame shot into the roof of the net. Didn't matter then but next season you can't make those sort of errors. He was first choice in the Prem but his errors and confidence was soon shot after a couple of games Hughes had to bring in another keeper.

As I say I give Green all the kudos in the world for last season. Performed well overall and was immense at Wembley. I hope for the world if he is our number 1 next season he makes no errors and plays blinders every week and people can hammer me on here. I just think if he does make an error or two that is costly, all those that defend him now will soon jump on the bandwagon a few of us are already riding.
