  • Goalkeeper crisis

I think we might be looking at a crisis for the goalkeepers spot.
As we know 5 players where offered new contracts. 2 of those were signed by Hughes with very high salaries - Zamora and Green.
Those 2 have not signed yet and probably because they are not willing to lower their salaries and it is probably for one year.
Green could be gone - must be in demand after last seasons performances. And then there is Cesar - I wonder how last night will affect him.

Give Cesar a few days and he'll be fine. He wasn't at fault yesterday, you can't do much as a keeper when your outfield players act af if they are 14 and are getting used to a larger pitch..

IF Green does not resign then we are stuck with Cesar and HR does not want any of him - I call that crisis

No, unfortunately never got along with Scott Jones.

If you had been captured by somalian pirates for five years and they gave you a treat as a qpr fan and let you read this forum today you would actually believe we are a club in massive turmoil and in danger of going out the football league.

I too think we have a crisis on our hands unless Green resigns. I didn't want to say anything as you know what people are like on this forum
                      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

                          Drama queen.

If the likes of Zamora, who's generally been paid incredibly well over the last few years for very little, in fact non existent return until the playoff final, have an issue with a reduced wage offer, then they can do one.

If Green doesn't sign then I would go for Alex McCarthy from Reading who would probably only cost around 1.5 million and far less wages

Although I want Green to stay its not the end of the world if he doesn't

Zamora set up both goals in the play off semi final btw, I do agree he didn't do much other than that and the final of course!
