Thought he'd been given a 12 month extension...??
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

    2015/2016, average at best.....

    2016/2017, same old, same old....

    2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

It's not on the offy, so I assume it was just a rumour, and he is not listed.

Would be the perfect result for everyone of he leaves us for another club even after we offered him another year. He leaves a hero, doesn't get bombed out and the club don't look evil throwing the 120 million man on the scrapheap.

I think the rumour was he's been 'offered' a 1 year extension by us, but perhaps he's considering other (longer) offers.

A useful 5th choice of the bench for the last 20 mins. But I'm happy if my last recollection of him for QPR is at Wembley after 89:50.

I tend to agree with you, I'm glad he has been offered a contract after what he did in the play offs but as you say, he will be down on the depth chart hopefully and he is injury prone!

now the emotions n elations havebegan to cool like the summer air.....it would be a great move for both parties....as qpr1976 correctly states it would 89.50 would be the perfect recollection of bobby.....rather than booing him as he runs around aimlessly after sunderland go 5-1 up at hq!

Ollie and Birch using their closeness to us to pick up some good players. I would've been happy to see Bob stay.

He was offered a 12 month contract at £15k a week,£50k a week less than he was on,so perhaps he's declined our offer.

Good luck Bob is he goes. Really turned round my opinion in the Play-offs, played a massive role.

We would have needed his routine, but I can see why he wants to leave.
