I'm born and bred in Dallas, Texas — yes, I've seen the show; no, I don't ride a horse; no, I don't own spurs; yes, everything's bigger here — and I've been an R's supporter for three years. We finally started getting Premier League games stateside then, and I wanted to get into it. I asked my friends which squad I should support, and they advised me to support QPR. Related: I don't think my friends like me very much.
In any case, I've grown quite fond of the R's, despite the fact that it's clear that they want to hurt me. And now, I actually get to watch their games every week (thank you, Bobby Zamora and NBC).
As far as I know, I'm the only R's fan in Dallas. Perhaps the World Cup — which has truly brought the sport into the limelight like never before — will encourage more people.
Come on you R's.

Welcome. It's always cool to see new R's fans over here. Being back in the PL will be great for being able to watch the games.
Support the club from overseas: buy a club membership. Who knows, maybe in the PL this year, the swag bag will be halfway-decent. Also, I strongly suggest you try to make a trip to Loftus Road at some point. And if you haven't already, watch the Four Year Plan on Netflix.

Any hoot, welcome to the board. I am from Pennsylvania. This is my 6th year following QPR. The last two years have been crazy. One of the most wildest rides that I have been through. The playoff final was one of the most satisfying wins that I have seen. Even more satisfying than the Giants 2007 Super Bowl upset.

Welcome Tepper, you are not alone in Texas, there are a few Rs located there. Please forgive some of the members who may give you a hard time & call you a glory hunter etc; the majority of us appreciate new additions to our ever growing family.
Hey Wisco, is Wisconsin just like That 70s Show?
Also a remote Colts fan since 2006, for baseball, obviously a Blue Jays fan & finally got to go to a game back in April.Minds Are Like Parachutes.
