you have to look at ALL the business, loans in and out, transfers, the works. I think that's a very sensible way of seeing how business has been conducted.

Well harrys so called flop signings last year got us promoted - some were a miss and other done the business but overall we got promoted so not many of us really have much to moan about. The main ones who played well are still with us and all the ones we moaned about are gone that tells me he knows what he's doing.

But how many 'flops' has HR actually bought? (Not loaned in)

exactly mate....some of the above mentioned and tbf most of them actually were squad players and not first 11. All loans and not at our club now as harry knows what he's doing. But austin, danny, phillips and even remy all at our club still all long term deals and brought by Harry not loans.

Plus being a championship side will always have an effect on the quality of players bought... IMO he done well!..... Also not forgetting what he cleared out.

Like I said more good than bad but to say he hasn't signed any flops bar Samba is just plain wrong

The majority of those "flops" were loans though. Of the players actually purchased, I would agree that Harry hasn't had many flops.

We are talking long term investments, first 11 players. Which if you look at that list only really samba and ekotto apply. But yes some of the loans were clearly panic acquisitions on short term deals.

Great manager and we're very lucky to have him.
I remember loads of posts on here as well as other teams sites confidently predicting "1st prem job that becomes available an he'll be gone"..Yet no...he stuck by us and
guided us straight back up...one of only 4 teams to achieve the feat of bouncing back to the premier lge 1st time.
As for this he only signs old players is just ridiculous ...he signs players he thinks are best for the job, and spent a lot less money than that welsh

I don't ever recall anyone saying Harry only signs players over 30. Ever.

I do recall people asking "why the **** is Harry signing old have-beens?". And the reason people were asking "why the **** is Harry signing old have-beens?" is because Harry was signing old have-beens. That's all there is to it really, why your mind starts imagining weird things like people having a vendetta against Harry and so moaning, I have no idea.

I think great is such a misused term. Harry's track record is decent. There is a GREAT difference between decent and great. I know the media loves him, and so do the players as he acts like one of the lads, so he is always praised in the media, and as a lot of people just listen to others without thinking for themselves, they start repeating the "Harry is a great manager" mantra, when nothing could be further from the truth.

Even the gullible FA weren't stupid enough to appoint him and went for Hodgson. Harry is very bitter about that, hence his comment England have no chance of winning the WC in 2018 and even 2022. What utter ********. We have a decent crop of youngsters coming through, and we have a reasonable chance of winning the WC in 2022 if they are brought through properly and if we have a good manager in charge then.

There are decent, youngish players out there in the Champ who have potential to step up (several other clubs have shown that) but Harry did the lazy thing and got lots of dead-beats for the short term. We should - imo - have been going after the Brysons and Lassalles last seaon. My hope this transfer window is that for the first time in years the club is finally looking LONG TERM and will sign players like Caulker and Sighorsson who cd potentially stay with us for several years so we aren't looking for an entirely new team every window.
Few god points there mate but better off this time round with age of players.

                                Matty Phillips

                                Charlie Austin

                                Junior Hoilett

                                Danny Simpson

                                Armand Traore

All the right side of 30. Good spine of a team.
