I think Harry knows 2 of his best signings (Austin & Phillips) are the right sort. Young, hungry and a realistic wage. Yes they cost £8-£9m for the pair but if you get quality, a sell on value and massive savings on weekly wages it's a no brainer

Early days and of course we don't know who will be a success if signed, but have been impressed with the sort of targets we have been after. My only disappointment so far has been that we haven't (apparently) done more to get Ince as he is the kind of dynamic young midfielder we are crying out for. But Caulker and Rio would be a brilliant mix of experience and youth imo, and from what little we know about sigorson (spelling?) he has the ideal age, style and record to perform in England. Much prefer we are patient enough to get it right this time.

Samba? And who would of thought that. We were all crying out for that one.
Pretty much every single player he's signed have done a job for us & he's hardly spent a penny in reality.SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

I was really critical of TF re Hughes - early doors it was obvious things were out of control. But the man has clearly learned. Funnily enough I think the experience of watching us labour our way to promotion brought home to him our weaknesses. He is not interested in bringing in older players in the twilight of their careers. There may be an exception, but TF gets it.

Think he could have worked harder last summer to bring in better long term prospects than O'Neil, Hughes and Henry for instance, then some of the loans like Doyle, Maiga, Dellatore, the Columbian who never played, etc. Still, happy to move forward and hope he brings in the six/ seven players we will now need to stay up.

then there is our old old old friend peter crouch.
lets wait till the window closes to fully judge the tw at that is redcrapp
Surely the last few days you have to be happy with the people we have gone in for or at least that the theory we are only after xperienced pros at the end of their careers has been squashed.
There are no official links to any of lampard, defoe, or crouch what so ever, your holding on to those rumours to justify the nonsense that was spouted about harry a few weeks back and since then.
