Yes, agreed and the daft thing is, when he signed for us, did he honestly expect us to be playing in the CL any time soon?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

No, that's why he had the release clause thinking he could move on when he liked. The fact that we are back in the premiership, could have back-fired on him (or his agent) big time.

No chance he will want to play for the Rangers.
He thinks he's too good for the likes of us.
In fact, he thinks he's so damn good, he wants to sign for a side playing in the Champions league.
To be honest, now we have Charlie Austin, and especially if HR can get in a good strike partner for Chaz, Remy can do one, as far as I'm concerned

Arsenal appear to be getting Sanchez and that may well change a lot things. Remy wants Champions league but the only team that fit that criteria that are/were interested was Arsenal and will they pay 8-10 million and 60-80k per week for a player that will basically be their third or fourth choice striker behind Sanchez, Giroud and Poldolski?

Wenger not known for spending money so must be in doubt, which would leave Spurs as the only team interested and they are not in Champions league and not likly to be in the near future could be interesting.

Well, if he read what Briatore said in the past, its Champions League football within four years!!!

Spurs might not be playing Champions League but they are a million times more successful than us. Think that's where he will prob end up.

Absolutely agree in a straight choice all things bring equal then yes he will choose Spurs. But will he be first choice and will they match his wages, if they are buying him to start sure it will go through, but if not maybe he will sit tight.

To be honest it's the clubs fault for paying twice as much as they should be offering.

Not sure its as simple as that. Cesar and Remy were not short of other suitors at the time. Why would both have turned down bigger clubs to come to us? Its not because either of them thought Loftus Rd was the theatre of dreams.

Good spot Acton. Hope you are right. Wonder if this might also suggest Ceasar to stay and Green to go? (This is not to start a ten page thread on which is the better keeper, I mean in the sense that rightly or wrongly Julio is the bigger name than our Rob).
