Is the Rio bit old news from the week, as apparently its been signed off now and Rio is announced on Monday.

very carefully worded doesn't say he won't sign just Redknapps frustration at failing to get it finalized which it will be.

Monday ? I didn't see a day mentioned, just 'next week', unless I missed something.

Not being pedantic, just don't want any over reactions if there's no confirmation by Tuesday morning.
He might be staying in Brazil until later next week and I bet if we do sign him, TF & HR will want a big Presser & Photo shoot with Rio there in person, holding one of those 'orrible new shirts !

Looks like it or he would of signed by now. Hopefully not another Hooper situation. Still think we should go back in for Lacelles as Rio is 36 and could learn a lot in training from him. Holtby would be decent

Lot of competition from Spurs for Lascelles wouldn't discount us getting him as will be very surprised if he stays at Forrest. They have recently signed a young centre back in Laing and have two others in Hobbs and Wilson who will probably be their first choice pair. Depends how much Spurs want him and how often he will play for either club?

Forest want £8million, so i think that will end our interest now.
Really hope we get Caulker, not sure what wages he was on at Cardiff but we need to convince him to sign.

Isn't Rio staying in Brazil until the end of the World Cup. If he is signing, won't the club want him to be here?

It finishes next week, are we even back in training yet? He will miss a couple of days at the very worst.

Holtby won't come. Caulker will be done. Rio done.
