This might be one for Isleworth to answer but how do they do the tickets for fans as you seem to get random blocks of fans spread about their seems no logic of having one massive block/group so one countries fans are together but you get few hundred here, 50 dotted there another 50 elsewhere but all in batches

We got our tickets as we usually do through the English FA using our caps (loyalty points) as do the majority of English fans who are members when travelling abroad nut for this we pay a membership fee which last two years at a time and we have to be vetted by the police

There was no problem getting tickets from the FA for Brazil but for Estonia for example later this year they will only give us about 900 tickets so 70% of these tickets will go to those with the highest number of caps and the remaining 30% will be go to a ballot meaning those who have just started will be way down the list but still have a chance

Before Brazil fans from all over the world including unvetted English fans could also apply through FIFA for tickets for any game who do not care about segregation and the Brazilians got cheap subsidised tickets before the tournament so of course many sell them on to make a profit meaning touts and locals had spares for every game except funnily enough the Uruguay v England game where tickets were like gold dust
