Good player, would be pleased with that if it happens.

We have a right back; its centre backs, a left back, two central midfielders and two strikers we need.

Agree not exactly the greatest priority, although Simpson is quite limited going forward - not that our defenders will prob be doing much of that next season!

I'd take one footballing CB with a bit of pace alongside Ned - if we get one quality CB who costs the price of two average contenders, I'd take that. Because this issue has not been resolved for a long time. I think an attacking midfielder capable of taking men on is also vital - we wont get by for a whole season parking the bus, we need an out. And we need at least one striker, as things stand we have one. Who is totally unproven at this level.

Yes, we have a right back, however, it's a squad game so we need two. Not sure if any of our youngsters are able to make the step up yet, and not sure about GJ, even though he's England's RB.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

totally agree - a defenders job is to defend, first and foremost. If they are any good going forward, that's a bonus

if we become hard to break down and mean at the back, it's less pressure on the strikers. We didn't keep many clean sheets in the 2 seasons we were up and got some right hidings

                    we've got to address this

Spot on! Especially in our position, trying to retain our PL status. I'd have four solid defenders next season rather than two full backs who are decent going forward.

Find it an absolutely shocking piece anyway. The lad is on huge wages and playing for a team challenging for the league title and in the Champions League, why would he swap all that to play in a relegation battle on lesser wages?

I'm sorry bur Glen Johnson is absolute dog ****. He shouldn't be anywhere near the England side, and wont be once Walker gets fit and Flanaghan breaks through.

Bloke is supposed to be a good attacking full back, but have you ever seen his end product? ****-poor.

                        No thanks from me.

Pointless - Simpson is the better player IMO anyway. Johnson is utter pony.

Just can't stand the bloke Nick

The money this clown would demand would be far better invested in Caulker/Lascelles or a decent midfielder/striker or two. Right back we should be looking for cheap-ish cover for Simpson, not blowing £120k a week on this guy.
