Talk about over the top, this Mafia bloke reads from a completely different hymn sheet. Quite amusing watching him explode.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I think Cesar is a top notch goalkeeper and did very well when he played for us. He has weaknesses but overall does a very good job.
As for the money debate: we obviously offered him much more than anybody else seems to think he is worth and he accepted. How does that make him a "money grabber"?!'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

Cesar is a better goalkeeper than Green comfortably. Green is a better goalkeeper for QPR and the situation as it stands.
Do people really use the argument Green is better because he kept loads of clean sheets in THE CHAMPIONSHIP?! Against the likes of Yeovil/Birmingham and Ipswich to name a few. Ridiculous.
Cesar is performing at the highest level with Brazil and in this world cup which Green failed to do not only at the World Cup but with England in general.
As for all this wage talk/why Cesar didn't go out on loan etc it is all speculation. The only concrete thing is Harry coming out and saying Cesar is a top pro a great trainer and not a moments trouble. Yet according to some on here he is disruptive/happy to sit around and has a terrible attitude. Making stuff up weakens an argument.

Disagree...

Cesar would not have broken those records

Who has the better team ..brazil england or QPR?....Ok i'll answer it brazil...if salad played in goal for england he too would be going home...he's playing in a better team which means more to him than us too.
One of his pens he saved was kicked right at him...

Just to add to Dave's (very good and valid) comments above.
How many decent keepers do Brazil have to chose from? Cesar barely played a game last season but is still Brazil's number 1 choice - can't say much for the competition.
Green had a very good season for Rangers but was playing in the Championship and so is way down the pecking order.
And before anyone says England wouldn't have Green again after his previous USA gaffe - Cesar's 2010 gaffe against Holland was epic but they had him back. Think that shows the depth in English keeps compared to Brazil#standuptocancer

As for "Cesar would not have broken those records" you can turn that round and say Green would never have achieved the things Cesar has achieved in his career. Hypothetical of course but my point is that to justify the ability of a keeper on a clean sheet record in the Championship is a pretty weak argument. Especially compared to a number of games QPR had in the Premier League where Cesar was outstanding.
Having seen them both and most games I just think Cesar is a much better keeper. Only my opinion. Green a decent keeper himself always makes me nervous though.
I have no doubt though after 1 or 2 Green clangers the Green lovers will soon turn on him so it is worth saving threads like these. This time last year 90% of this forum wanted Barton out and never to play for this club again failing to recognise if QPR wanted to get promotion he would be key. Those same 90 off per cent now love him and would never admit to that slice of humble pie.

Personally i rate Cesar and feel some of the stick he got was out of order. Some fans blamed him for a West Ham goal that was deflected past him a yard in front of him after he had it covered until then, which was ridiculous. Also, loads blame the Villa goal on him ignoring the fact the defence should've dealt with it but get no slating. People say he should've claimed it but at no point did the ball go beyond the defenders who started around the penalty spot and retreated to the 6 yard line.. to try and get the ball he'd have had to jump through players which would've been a lottery. Anyway this was done to death in a similar thread not long ago.
Put it this way, we only signed Cesar becasue Green started the prem season in shocking fashion gifting Swansea their first goal totally against the run of play with their first attempt. It set the tone for what followed. He has also made more shocking clangers in a QPR shirt that Cesar..... was it West Brom he watched it drop and fluffed it into the net..?
Yes Green has played well this last season, and fair play to him, but he's played with less pressure. I think he struggles with pressure personally, hence more likelyu to drop a clanger than Cesar.
Either way, i'll support whoever plays between the sticks.

Cesar showed here where his main weakness lies. This ball went straight through him, Olic headed back into the penalty area and Croatia scored.
It was deemed a foul, which is wasn't because the ball simply went past Cesar rather than him catching/punching it to safety.
Had that goal been righfully allowed to stand, Brazil would have lost and Cesar crowned a clown rather than a hero in their second round shoot out.
It really is a game of if's and but's
