Yeah, it's a nice kit. And from next season we'll have a say in the kit design. First year according to the contract we had to take what was given to us by them from the Nike catalogue.

How many years have we played in full hoops.

You can't tell me there ain't no full hoop shirts in the Nike catalogue. Even just for one season I hate the fact we will look like reading who can't afford the full hoops.

Yes it certainly looked good, imagine the blue and white exactly the same it would look terrific
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

There actually aren't. I bought the same shirt as our new home one for my 5 a side team a couple of years ago and it was the only blue and white hooped shirt I could find.

Anyone think @rsenal would have the same problem 1st season ? "Sorry guys, we don't have a red shirt with white arms in our catalogue, you'll have to have one from the catalogue....."

            Or Barcalona ?

            Oh well.

They did, it was the same with Man Utd, even they had to go with a catalogue one for the first season.

Really ? Wow....I can't believe it takes 18+ months to design & make a football kit.
I recall TonyF sending a picture of Nike trainers as a teaser clue to our new kit makers around Sept/Oct last year !

Can you imagine other Retailers & Fashion Designers taking so long to get new fashions onsale ?
doesn't seem to have done nike any harm though.....

Part of the big deal worth million is that you wear one of their designs for the first season to help sell it. Simple as that. Its big money and we need to be grateful and just get over the fashion side of it.

IMO Nike have produced the best shirt at the World Cup with the French home and away strips.

Puma have been working on the Arsenal shirt for 18 months. So have Nike on their Roma shirt.

Design - manufacture - point of sale is a minimum of 12 months for a global sportswear co with football clubs.

Hmm - bit too reminiscent of Spurs shirts for me.

Love the Croatia shirts and the US numbers though
