Caulker is a possibility, Liverpool looking elsewhere and everton not keen on his wage demands plus our location helps. Also don't underestimate the draw of Ferdinand who can develop his game.

As for maguire I doubt any of those championing his signing have seen him play, defo not prem level, slow and gets caught out positionally and no chance of him coming to us as simply not wanted.
