If Tf has vetoed the deal due to his wage demands, then good on him. Fed up with players using us as a cash cow. Time to move onto other targets, must be some very good centre halfs around Europe who wouldn't cost the earth. Bout time our scouts started to earn their £.
Would pay him 40 possibly 50 just to get him. Could be a central part to our plans for years to come. There are some players id pay more than others and id go the extra mile for him. Though I think we can get this done I think he's holding out to see if anyone else like spurs or everton get involved.
Though this doesnt have to be rushed for the sake of going after other targets I hope the board give him a cut off date of no longer then the end of the week.
Think to address the balance and theory that we can be taken for a ride on wages we were always going to have to have two of three tough transfer windows until players and agents get the message to come with realistic expectations
On the other hand, we have to Ensure that we have a good enough Squad to stay up this time. Caulker is a key-player in that respect. He played in the Premiership last year. I dont trust our scouts just yet...

Got to the point where I don't give a fark if he signs or not now. Was excited when we agreed a fee with Cardiff for him now I'm not fussed. He obviously doesn't think much of us if he's waiting out this long, so fark him. Get Lascelles in and have a scout around Europe.
their so called intelligence was well wide of the mark.
that may turn out to have been the case. But if you make a living out of getting it right, it stands to reason that the intelligence has to be spot on more often than not.
All I'm saying is that sometimes watching the market makes more sense than believing what you read elsewhere......
Not 100 percent as things do change but there is a lot of interest on him. He isn't going to jump to us is he when there is a possibility of joining an Everton or a team similar..
