Honest and Decent. 100% a good and solid signing for the Hoops, but of course my only concern would be that hes on more than 60K.

Dunne came to us with an injury problem, we gave him a contract that covered our backs. I expect the same from the Rio deal as well.

He is top player and could easily play in a top 6 team still...
    Why 60k? Why not 55k? Maybe 39.5k?....

Yes, Rio is at the peak of his physical powers and worth every penny of 80k a week. As someone said earlier, he would easily walk into a top six side and I'm astonished that we've not read about approaches from that set of clubs. What a lucky club we are!

I am soooo grateful to Sparky and Bunny for making me see the light

Why the fùck are so many people fixated on who earns what? It aint like any of you lot actually know who earns what and we aint even signed the bloke! Whether he signs and whether he earns 5k or 100k I don't give a monkeys as long as he performs - if he signs!

Correct, as long as players perform, there should be absolutely no limit on what they earn. If every player performs, they should be fully entitled to get whatever they want.

Put 'em all on 100k a week if they perform and watch our wage bill hit £130m a season just for the first team squad. Who gives a monkeys eh?

            Few questions to answer.

United had ONE bad season, 100% still a top four team IMO.

Rio could easily get into Everton, Spurs and probably Liverpool's team. (Toure, Dawson and Distin are no better than Rio!!!)

I am in some ways 'Fixated' by salaries at QPR because I dislike the club being spoken about poorly and furthermore dont believe that we should be spending 60K on players a week. IMO!!!

You miss the point. He cannot get in the Everton Spurs or Liverpool team because those clubs haven't come in for him. Why is that do you think? I'd take a guess and say the managers of those clubs believe they have better players or targets.

It's only people like you and a few others who are saying he's good enough for those clubs, not those who matter, their respective managers, and with respect, they're more knowledgeable than you on these matters.

I dont believe clubs like Everton, Liverpool or Spurs went in for him because they probably feel they can get better/similar players for cheaper money.

Where as QPR are in not that position.

To say Kolo Toure is better than Rio is beyond me.. He isnt!!

It could be that he wants to play under Harry, it could be that we are the stupid mugs paying him the most?

Also, this a forum, if we dont voice our opinions/talk/chat then there wouldnt be a ****ing forum?? In most cases, we discuss stories that we have less knowledge on.

Rio IMO is a top defender.
