We don't have a world class player who can change the game. Rooney has proved in south africa and confirmed it in Brazil that he just isn't good enough. Works hard but does too much out of the box and will never score enough goals to ever be classed as real quality. Gerrard is getting older now and we have no quality coming through in these 2 roles. Sturridge was absolutely shocking and I feel sorry for Roy. Sturridge and Sterling were chalk and cheese in the 2 games they played and for a manager that must be ****** frustrating.
